Wivenhoe May Fair

The Wivenhoe May Fair is a community festival, run by volunteers of all ages, that supports local music, crafts and performing arts and raises money for charity.

The main and acoustic stages showcase some of the region's best bands and musicians and there are lots of other activities including open air theatre, a healing area, market stalls, circus acts, drum workshops and kid's activities.

In the last 10 years the May Fair has raised over £25,000 for local, national and international charities.

I volunteer as one of the main coordinators on the day and help run the non-profit organisation behind the event.
