Jan 2008 - NAUI 2008 Calendar
The
Surgeon Fish image (shown left), taken in Similian Islands, Thailand, has been included in the 2008 NAUI promotional calendar (August).
The image, although not one of my most dramatic shots, captures the irridescense of the powder blue from which this type of
surgeon fish gets its name.
May 2007 - PADI Competition
In May 2007 a selection of my underwater photos won the PADI Speciality of the Year Competition.
They include the
Sea Cucumber and the
Hermit Crab.
Jan 2007 - Underwater Photos
I completed the PADI Digital Underwater Photography course in Koh Tao, Thailand in Jan 2007.
The techniques I was taught by Bear (who coincidentally lives 20 miles from me in England) have given me new skills and confidence, not
only in underwater photography, but in land photography as well.
