CORC

The CORC website was built on the Red Atom Content Management System with additional integration into a discussion forum. This allows CORC members to sign up and access various secured pages on the site, as well as take part in forum discussions.

The website was built using PHP and MySQL.

The project was an attempt at aiding communication and file-sharing between several research groups. A common problem is how to synchronise documents and emails effectively so that everyone can work on the most appropriate versions of the document and have access to the most up-to-date information.

This remains a significant problem today with considerable academic research and private development trying to solve the problem of making human-friendly, simple software that can organise our complex data lives.
